"Icky Chicky" is the thirtieth episode of the first season of Harvey Beaks.
Synopsis[]
After Harvey outgrows his favorite baby toy, he decides to give it to Foo.
Plot[]
The episode starts as a flashback showing Harvey first hatching from his egg. After he is hatched, his mom gives him a toy chick called Chicky.
Years later, Harvey is playing with his friends when his mom gives him Chicky, but his friends tell him that he is too old for that. He goes inside to have a talk with Miriam, asking if Chicky is a baby toy. She states that he did get Chicky when he was a baby, but now that Harvey is grown up, he feels like it’s time to give him up. At first, he tries to throw Chicky in the trash, but is reluctant to do so. That is until Foo pops out of the garbage and asks if he can have it. So, Harvey decides to give it to Foo, who doesn't care whether his toy is a baby toy or not. But, upon spying, Harvey starts to think that Foo is playing too rough with it, even calling him Icky Chicky.
One night, Harvey has a nightmare, and when he wakes up, he goes to Foo's tree and steals it in the middle of the night when he’s sleeping. The next morning, Foo asks Harvey where Chicky is. Harvey tries to explain, but then discovers Chicky is nowhere to be found. Miriam lets Harvey know that she threw it out and it is going to the dump.
Irving brings Harvey and Foo to the dump to find Chicky, just it is about to get shredded by a trash compactor. They try to save it, but he is stuck on a conveyor belt on a bunch of gum. Harvey gets off the belt, but Foo is still trying to rescue Chicky. Luckily, Harvey is able to save Foo, but they are too late to save Chicky, as he gets shredded up. Harvey then apologizes, admitting that he didn’t want to give up Chicky as he still felt special to him. But then, Chicky comes back out, only slightly harmed. Foo starts to give Chicky back, but Harvey decides to let Foo keep him. But as an extra precaution, Harvey puts Chicky in some plastic wrap so Foo can play with it without hurting him.
