Carl Harvey "C.H." Greenblatt is an American cartoonist, screenwriter, producer, and storyboard artist. He is the creator and executive producer of Harvey Beaks. He was a storyboard artist and writer until Season 3 of the hit show SpongeBob SquarePants.


C.H. Greenblatt was born on June 17, 1972 in Plano, Texas, USA. His passion for animation started as a kid when he made a comic strip called Zibbler in the sixth grade. He attended the University of Texas in Austin where he studied advertising and continued to create comics such as Durbingle the Goat Boy.

He has worked as a storyboard artist and writer on Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and on Cartoon Network’s The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. In November 2007, Greenblatt began Chowder, an animated show that he created and executive produced for Cartoon Network. He has also directed the Deadman shorts for DC Nation. Greenblatt currently resides in Los Angeles.

He announced in September 2013 that Bad Seeds, the original title for Harvey Beaks, was picked up for 26 22-minute episodes. Production began January 2014.
