Carl Harvey "C.H." Greenblatt is an American cartoonist, screenwriter, producer, and storyboard artist. He is the creator and executive producer of Harvey Beaks. In addition to creating the show, Greenblatt provided the voices of Dade, Jeremy and other characters.
History[]
C.H. Greenblatt was born on June 17, 1972 in Plano, Texas, USA. His passion for animation started as a kid when he made a comic strip called Zibbler in the sixth grade. He attended the University of Texas in Austin where he studied advertising and continued to create comics such as Durbingle the Goat Boy.
He has worked as a storyboard artist and writer on Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants during its early seasons and on Cartoon Network’s The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, where he also played the recurring role of Fred Fredburger.
In November 2007, Greenblatt began Chowder, an animated show that he created and executive produced for Cartoon Network; Greenblatt remained under the role until the show ended in 2010. He has also directed the Deadman shorts for DC Nation. Greenblatt currently resides in Los Angeles.
He announced in September 2013 that Bad Seeds, the original title for Harvey Beaks, was picked up for 26 22-minute episodes by Nickelodeon. Production began in January 2014. Harvey Beaks ran for two seasons between 2015 to 2017. After the show ended, Greenblatt developed another cartoon, Jellystone!, which released on HBO Max. (now known as Max)
